Master Diamond Jeweler, Vartan Toutikian, is a third generation jeweler. He learned the skill of jewelery making and diamond setting in his family's shop. At the age of thirteen he finished his first piece of jewelry- a cross with a diamond set back to back- that you will see him wear to this day.
By the age of 24 he had worked in independent design and manufacturing studios in Paris, France, completing work for big companies such as Boucheron, Van Cliffe, Cartier and Bulgari. In 1985 Vartan came to the United States were he openend his wholesale business in Los Angeles. One year later he relocated to San Francisco were his wholesale business was in full swing until the beginning of 1993.
Master Diamond had its first retail location in Concord, California by April of 1993 where specializing in custom designs and redesigning of customers' outdated pieces were priority as well as saving customers money in the process.
In 1999 Master Diamond moved its store to Downtown Walnut Creek where it has thrived ever since.
